1. Concern and care more on the marginalized community, so that they are able to grab back sufficient space, resources, as well as economy, and socio-cultural strength.

4.Grounding the perspective of the activity scope on the YSIK Code of Conduct, Vision and 5 Basic Values (Independence, Human Rights, Social Justice and Gender Equality, Democracy and Sustainable Environment)


Code of conduct for those who are involved in and with YSIK

  • Responsible and accountable to the public
  • Maintaining the heterogeneity of the society in the perspective of Gender, Religion, Belief, Race and Ethnic in every level of the organization
  • Professionalism
  • Transparency, good and clean governance.
  • YSIK is not an implementing organization
  • YSIK does not accept fund from institution that do human right violation, environment destruction, and discrimination on gender, religion, race and ethnic.
  • YSIK does not administer loan
  • YSIK does not accept and/or give grant to political party
  • YSIK does not accept money laundry.
  • Board of Advisors, Steering Board, Supervisors, and organizing board of YSIK are not involved in running political party.

AVAILABLE PROGRAM

1.Capacity Building Grant:

This program is aimed to increase the capacity of NGO in self-managing toward independency, and having control and access for their organization. The target of the program is all civil organizations in the civil-politic, economic, social, and cultural fields . Other expectation from YSIK’s support is leading to a change within the surrounding community.

2.Human Right Advocacy

YSIK, from the very beginning, concerns on the human right problems in Indonesia, which recently become public issues sand attract either national or international institution. YSIK considers that it is necessary to support NGOs and activists who work on human right advocacy. YSIK also encourages NGOs and activists to build new alliances  in campaigning human right. The objective is that they establish the networking and synergy

3. Support for New Initiatives

YSIK gives more support to institutions or individual who have strategic initiatives and empowerment of the marginalized community to grab their access and control upon the existing resources (politics, economics, socials and culturals). YSIK also supports institutions and individuals who have new initiatives in relation to Human Riight, such as research and publishing the victims of state violence, and so on.  Such support is expected to be the stimulation for organizations or individuals to initiate the reduction of human right violation, violence and gender mainstreaming

4.Humanitarian Support

Humanitarian programs supported by YSIK have wide scopes. Beside institutions, YSIK supports individual who has a close relationship with Human Right Enforcement effort.
